Case Study: Health care webcast registration microsite infrastructure

The Challenge

InSitu manages live webcast events for large health industry clients and needed a web infrastructure to support the rapid development of microsites handling the registration and scheduling of live webcast events. The system needed to be capable of integrating with several live webcast platforms provided by third party suppliers.

Solution

Solvexx analysed InSitu’s requirements and proposed a 3 tier web application infrastructure to be developed in ASP.NET and using SQL Server. The application and database were designed to handle a broad range of registration needs and to be extensible so that new live webcast platforms can be integrated.

Results

InSitu had tried working with several technical partners in the past and had, had problems with the response times being too slow and sites not being ready for events. The microsite infrastructure and responsive graphic design service from Solvexx has enabled InSitu to make up ground lost with clients due to earlier problems caused by previous technical partners and to build on the new positive experience they are delivering to expand their business.
